We provide supported housing options for adults who need safe, suitable and well-managed accommodation. Our housing includes tenancy management, property compliance, repairs coordination and intensive housing management where this is needed to help sustain the tenancy. Care and personal support are arranged and delivered separately by the relevant care or support provider.

Self-contained apartments
Independent flats or studios with a private front door, designed for people who can live more independently but may still benefit from housing management input and coordinated involvement from care or support providers where needed.
- Private kitchen, bathroom and living space.
- Property safety checks and responsive repairs.
- Intensive housing management where this is needed to support tenancy sustainment.
- People progressing to greater independence.
- People who value privacy but still need some housing management input.
- People moving on from shared supported housing, where this is appropriate.
Rent, service charges and any ineligible personal charges are explained before the tenancy starts. Where Housing Benefit applies, the relevant local authority decides entitlement and eligible amounts.
Specialist adapted housing
Adapted homes for people whose accommodation needs are affected by mobility, sensory, physical or other assessed requirements. Adaptations depend on assessment, property suitability, funding, consent and practical deliverability.
- Wheelchair access, level-access showers or widened doorways where required and feasible.
- Provision for specialist equipment where assessed and agreed.
- Property safety measures and compliance arrangements suitable to the accommodation.
- People with mobility, sensory or physical needs.
- Tenants whose assessed needs require specific property features.
- Individuals whose housing risks can be reduced through a more suitable environment.
Adapted housing can involve additional property costs. We work with commissioners, occupational therapists, families and relevant professionals to understand need, suitability and funding. Housing Benefit entitlement is determined by the relevant local authority.
Who is eligible and how placements work
- Eligibility: adults with additional needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical needs or sensory impairments, where supported housing is suitable.
- Referrals: usually through local authority social care, housing, commissioning or health teams. Families and advocates can contact us to discuss options, but formal placements usually require professional involvement.
- Assessment: before any placement, we consider property suitability, housing-related need, affordability, risk, support arrangements and any required adaptations.
- Role clarity: Havenmore provides housing management, property compliance, repairs coordination and intensive housing management. Care and personal support are arranged and delivered separately by the relevant care or support provider.
- Tenancy information: tenants are given clear information about the accommodation, tenancy terms, rent, service charges, repairs, complaints process and their rights.
