- Housing and tenancy management are our core focus.
- We reinvest in property standards, safety, compliance and the tenant experience.
- We work transparently with tenants, families, representatives, local authorities and professionals.
What we do
- Housing and tenancy management: allocations, sign-ups, tenancy information, tenancy sustainment, rent, service charges and Housing Benefit liaison where applicable.
- Property and compliance: health and safety checks, planned works and responsive repairs, delivered through approved contractors and coordinated by Havenmore.
- Intensive housing management: enhanced housing management activity linked to tenancy sustainment, property use, communication, housing risk and coordination with relevant professionals.
How we work with care and support
Havenmore is the housing provider. We do not provide regulated personal care. Where tenants receive care or support, this is arranged and delivered separately by the relevant care or support provider. We work with those providers, local authorities, families and professionals so that the housing arrangement is properly coordinated while roles remain clear and accountable.
Tenancy rights and information
We are reviewing our tenancy documentation, website content and tenant information in line with the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 and wider housing regulation changes.
Tenants will be given clear written information about their tenancy, rent, service charges, repairs, complaints process, safety responsibilities and rights. Where a tenant needs help to understand information, we will support appropriate involvement from family members, appointees, advocates or authorised representatives.
Governance, quality and transparency
- We operate under the Companies Act 2006 and Community Interest Company framework.
- Our policies cover safeguarding, health and safety, complaints, equality, data protection, repairs, tenancy management and housing standards.
- We are developing our governance, policies, evidence base and operating controls to support future Registered Provider readiness.
- Not-for-profit CIC: any surplus is reinvested into homes, safety, compliance and tenant wellbeing.
- Supported housing model: we provide housing and intensive housing management to help tenants sustain suitable accommodation.
- Clear roles: Havenmore provides housing and tenancy management; care and personal support are arranged and delivered separately by relevant providers.
- Who we house: adults with additional needs, including learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions, usually referred by local authorities or professional partners.
- Quality and compliance: relevant policies and procedures are kept under review and updated as our services and legal duties develop.
